Pilates Training Programs

The classical repertoires of Contrology infused with modern exercise science and best practices

Mat | Reformer | Comprehensive Apparatus

If you’re looking for depth, this is it.

At Laramie Pilates we’ll spend time together learning about who Joseph Pilates was, what he offered, and why, more than 50 years after his death, we can’t get enough of it.

We’ll cover the full repertoires of exercises and offer a comprehensive overview of not only how to establish them into your own body and practice but also how to make them accessible to all bodies.

Accessibility requires a developed understanding of how bodies move and carry, of how they adjust and evolve. This means on top of the modality itself we will also study anatomy and physiology, the most up-to-date exercise science, and discuss real bodies and how to support their legitimate uniquenesses.

This study is invaluable to ANYONE who teaches movement.

It’s not enough to just practice each exercise a few times and call it good, to memorize a list of names. This is an opportunity to learn, integrate, learn more, integrate more - a continual spiral that will lead you towards a rich understanding.

This is about making Pilates a lifelong journey, and an intimate relationship with your practice ensures that should you choose to teach you can speak from a wealth of knowledge and experience.
